The XC Flatbed Cutter from Imperial DTF is designed to streamline this process and significantly speed up your workflow.

DTF printers can print up to 1,000 linear feet of film per day, and after printing multiple rolls—3, 4, or more—someone has to manually cut the film down from its 24"+ width. The XC Flatbed Cutter eliminates this tedious step, effectively saving you an entire day's of labor. Here are a few ways the cutter can enhance your shop's operations:

We recommend pairing the XC Flatbed Cutter with a DTF system that has Wasatch SoftRip installed. Wasatch can generate cut paths while preparing your files for printing. It also prepares a QR code on your gang sheet, which contains cutting instructions. Once your print job is completed, you can either cut off the section from the roll or load the entire roll onto the XC Cutter. The cutter reads the QR code, references the cut paths saved on a thumb drive, and begins cutting your transfers along the contour path with minimal blade movement, maximizing speed and efficiency.
