| Galactic White Boost Powder is a high-performance TPU adhesive designed to increase white opacity L* by approximately two points. Due to its performance specifications, it requires stable environmental conditions maintained 24 hours a day. For people that manually powder your films, you will probably find Starbase is easier to work with. Environmental Requirements: - Temperature: 72°F - Relative Humidity: 5% – 30% - Venting: Proper dryer venting is necessary to maintain these conditions. If humidity levels exceed 30%, the powder will stick outside the image area and create a visible powder halo around your print. White Ink Compatibility: Galactic is sensitive to the percentage of white ink used. Because it cures with a white finish rather than clear, it must be able to absorb the excess glycol in the white ink. If the white ink percentage is set too high, the powder will not fully absorb the glycol, resulting in a white powder halo around the image. |
