What does Oeko-Tex Certification mean?

OEKO-TEX is a certification system for textiles that ensures a product is free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. The full name is OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and it is granted to textiles and fabrics that pass a series of tests for harmful substances. This certification helps consumers and manufacturers be confident that the materials used in products like clothing, bedding, and upholstery are not only safe but also produced with environmental and ethical standards in mind.

The certification is issued by the OEKO-TEX® Association, which is an international network of research and testing institutes. The label is often seen as a trusted indicator of quality and safety in the textile industry.
